sooo, about myyy weekend...

i guess u can say friday was sorta eventful. my parents got here around quarter to 1... by the time we moved my stuff out to the car, ran to the Ross Library in town to give a book back, and went to the leasing office for Evergreen Commons to sign my lease, we were on the road at 2:45. so we got onto Rt. 80 and we didnt even go a mile on 80 when cops waved all the cars down. 2 hours later, we moved maybe about 5 feet from where we were stopped by the cop. i made friends with 1 guy from penn state, 1 guy from allgheny(sp?), and a girl from lock haven that ive never seen around campus before. we talked for about 10 minutes or so. dana called me back from an email i sent her earlier in the day. SHE'S MARRIED!! she got married almost 3 weeks ago when she went on vacation to visit her marine BF in N. Carolina. the justice of the peace married them. well as we started back up on the highway, we passed another accident that JUST happened... there was one paramedic there cleaning up the girls face... i guess she just scratched it up a bit, but 2 cars went over the hill in between 80w and 80e... well we finally got to tannersville around 6:30/7ish n went shopping at The Crossings n then went out for pizza afterwards. however, i did head over to tara's around 9:30 n drank my Coronas... lots of em :)

the next morning, tara, rick, stan n i went to Fridays for an early lunch... we all sorta had hangovers, we were being loud, and rick kept on farting in the booth, so i thought we were gonna get kicked out lol... we were there when it opened at 11:30 so the managers were still walking around. afterwards, tara and i went to old navy and i spent $66 bucks... i got a pink sheer top, two basic tank tops (white and dark green), a cute white shirt that i wore for easter in the last picture on this post, and then these knee length capri shorts... i <3 them... i recommend that everyone head to old navy in the near future cuz im a fan of what they have out now... definitely...haha. welllll after that we headed over to target and i got makeup, then kohl's for new sandals, 6 new pairs of socks, and a thong lol... thennn i went to pier 1 with ALL of my sisters and bought this really good smelling candle just cuz i felt like buying one. overall, i spent a good amnt of money this weekend. i came home, tried on my dress, took a shower cuz i felt nasty, ate some dinner, and then headed out with dana for the night. we went shopping for her HUSBAND'S easter basket stuff for when he comes home next weekend. i kept telling dana i felt so old shopping with her... she like buying all this wife-y stuff and here i am buying chips and dip for the movie we were gonna go get at blockbuster and nail polish lol... well we got "Le Divorce" at Blockbuster, went back to my house, watched that, i feel asleep at the end, and woke up when it got interesting. dana left, and i went to bed :)...

sunday was easter... obviously... i woke up 10 minutes before church and managed to shower, dry my hair, brush my teeth and get dressed in that amount of time. i did pretty well if u ask me. we went to grandma's for the day and that was about it for my easter sunday. look at the pictures for all the "fun" stupid stuff my sister did... lol...

well monday was another "eventful" day. i didnt do much but pack and run last minute errands... wellll! the heating shield to my muffler decided to fall off so i had to go to the firestone place where my sister's friend Jig works and get that fixed... he didnt charge me anything, so i was really lucky...

this morning i headed back to lhu at like 7 and got here around 10... i had to teach at the elementary school and once again, i was nervous. i completely forgot to send Mr. Gill, the teacher, my lesson plan for that day so he was kinda mad. well today i taught a whole bunch of 3rd graders about similes and metaphors. about 3/4 of the class understood and painted their similes the right way, and others just well.... painted the entire piece of paper. but that went well... n then i went to walmart, the library in town and other errands... :)

i realized that i haven't actually sat and not posted a survey in a while... lets see....

hmmm... oh well... my grandma is FINALLY healthy... she hasn't been doing great lately cuz they thought she might have cancer in her bladder. well yesterday i get news that shes doing good... she has minor surgery on thursday and they found out that she doesnt have any tumors or anything. im really happy.

come to think of it, this weekend has been really good.
... i didnt get to bed til about 2:30AM last night and woke up at 9 this morning
i didnt do much but today but since i was up at 9, i did 2 loads of laundry, showered, ate oatmeal, and cleaned my room, alllll before work at 12. :) then at work, i finished my last lesson plan for children's lit. i cant tell u how happy i am that its finished. then i decided to give an old friend a call, talked to them for awhile, and took a 4 hr nap :-P... i must've not realized how tired i was, but i woke up at 7 and i felt like my day was wasted cuz it was dark as hell. haha oh well, it was refreshing :)

its 11pm now, i cant believe it. geeeezus! :D

today was an altogether disaster... i should really just go take a nap. my alarm went off at 8:40... i was gonna get up, get a shower, straighten my hair, the whole shabang... but noooo, i decided that i was still tired so i was just gonna lay there for a while. yea i fell asleep like a dumbass... at exactly 9:40 i sat straight up, looked at my clock and said "fuck it" cuz ill never make it outta here in 5 minutes. so i got up and got ready for lunch at 11 instead.

As i was getting in the shower, i stubbed my toe and broke the nail on my big toe... and thats not me AT ALL to worry about a broken toe nail, but it looks like shit cuz its short now LOL...

Now I NEED to work on two more lesson plans if i wanna pass Children's Lit this spring...but not until i do a survey i suppose

last night was alot of fun...
Birgitta and I went to the play, Grease... i had to go for my theatre class too, but it was still alot of fun. Birgitta invited her "friend" Jack to come, who in turn, invited his friends Ian, Opi, and Brian, the SUPER quiet one who sat on the end and didn't say a word. Jack was trying to set me up with Opi, but i was more interested in Ian. He's a bigger guy, REALLY tall, built, red-ish brown-ish hair, Crim. Justice major, a cute big nose LOL... so after intermission, they tried to get Opie to move into my seat so i could sit next to Ian. he wouldnt move lol. so there was nothing but the initial meeting and a few words here and there. Birgitta said shes gonna talk to Jack about it lol.

Well after we all went our separate ways after the play, Birgitta and Jack went to Birgitta's house. She got her long awaited kiss!, so we went out and "celebrated" at DUNKIN DONUTS!... OH YES! lol... im so incredibly happy for her and shes happy for me too.

it's time for me to move on and be happy, and last night, i was definitely happy :)

well around 3:30 yesterday, laura and i headed out to mansfield to pick up trav... i was feeling absolutely fine the entire day, through dinner, through a tv movie we were watching, everthing. I went back up to my room around 9:15/9:30ish and i..... lost it. seeing trav and laura together made me want that relationship again...and hearing bry and charlie talk on the phone didnt make it any better either. i made the mistake of opening up an old email. i couldnt believe that the sweetest man ive ever met is gone. all of the cute pet names and the "i love you's" are gone and done with. i IM'd Birgitta and i just told her i needed a friend to just cry with... and she said to come down to her house down on N. Fairview. so i did and we talked... i felt a little better, but even as i sit here and write this,

what I did today, MYYY birthday:

- went to take a shower this morning and found out my

the blue one says "Happy Birthday" and the purple one says "Michelle, the big 2-0" from Jess B.

- went to art class and messed around with yarn soaked in glue lol...
- came back, dropped my shtuff off, and went to breakfast with heather...
- got a million

- came back up, lounged around for a while, studied some math and history for both tests
- went and took the easiest math test EVER @ 2:10!
- came back up and saw lisa... and got really pretty

- lisa stayed around for a little bit, then left and i reviewed for history a little bit more.

We both got these really good sandwiches, i got Hickory Grilled Chicken (minus the bacon) and she got this other chicken sandwich i think, i cant remember... Then we both shared this Chocolate Shortbread cake thing... its like a big piece of choc. cake with ice cream, caramel, fudge, and whipped cream... mmmmmmmmmm if i do say so myself... She paid for it all... she's the best... she really really is.. :D

...when we got back from Ruby Tuesdays, got rid of the jeans and put comfy clothes on

dana left around 9:30 cuz i had a meeting for theatre, so i hope she made it back ok and all... ill give her a call in the morning :) haha at the meeting, the really smart girl with all the good ideas (Carla) told off the stupid brunette that we all hate (Valerie)... and it was really amusing... we were waiting for valerie to come out of Grease and when she did, 5 minutes later she was complaining that she had to leave. Well at this point, i think Carla had it with her and was like, "I don't care, GO... its not like u've helped with this play at all" and Val was like, "of course i have, i helped with the whole beginning"... which is such a lie cuz all she does is sit there and complain about how much our script sucks and tells us how everthing should be done... she said our lead in the play we hafta write should be on drugs and we should use a fog machine (we're writing a murder mystery comedy thing)... WHERE THE HELL ARE WE GONNA GET A FOG MACHINE U DUMBASS! LOL... oh wow

ok, enough going off about that, i think im hitting the bed here soon, this has been a LONG but happy day! :-D Thanks to everyone for everthing, i really appreciate it :)

After 4 semesters, dana is FINALLY making it up to lock haven tomorrow... shes got a test in her class at 3 and then she's coming!!! shes taking me to dinner... im gonna pick Ruby Tuesdays i think:). shes got a good 2 1/2 hr drive from around Kutztown so she'll leave around 10ish i guess, but i'm SO very excited! she bends over backwards for me and we are so close...i love her so so much... ill remember to take birthday pictures and post them :)
